There was a time when modesty felt like a compromise. A quiet tension between the woman I wanted to become and the clothes I could find to dress her in. Nothing felt right. Everything felt like I was choosing between my faith and feeling beautiful.
I didn’t have the language for it then. I just knew that something was missing — a version of modest clothing that didn’t ask me to give up elegance, or taste, or the feeling that I belonged in the room.

The first time I walked through Dubai, I saw women dressed modestly — and they looked incredible. Not toned down. Not hidden. Powerful. Polished. Completely themselves.
Modest dressing wasn’t a limitation there. It was luxury. It was normal. And in that moment, I understood exactly what I’d been looking for.

I started travelling to Dubai alone. I was in my twenties. No business plan. No investors. Just instinct, a carry-on, and an idea I couldn’t let go of.
Each trip, I went deeper. I studied fabrics, silhouettes, the small details that separate something ordinary from something you never want to take off. I was learning the language of luxury modest fashion — not from a textbook, but from the ground up.

On one of those trips, I met a tailor. Small workshop. No name yet. But the moment I saw how he worked — the precision, the care, the way he handled fabric like it meant something — I knew.
He wasn’t famous. He wasn’t sought after. But I could see what he would become. And I told him: let’s build something together.
That partnership became the foundation of every single piece we make today.
